FC BARCELONA NEED TO STOP

La Liga is back and well and truly on the way. A rather intriguing title-race is ongoing with Spain's two top clubs, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF, going for it. At the time this article is being published, Real Madrid sit top of the table, level on points with Barcelona courtesy of a 1-2 victory over Real Sociedad in what has been described as a controversial match. In fact, Barcelona has a superior goal difference of 38 to Madrid's 36 and Real are only top of the league by virtue of a better head-to-head record over Barcelona. But, today my problem isn't with Madrid going top of the table in arguably dubious circumstances, but with how the Barcelona community are taking a slip up on their part. FC Barcelona had one job and one job only, to try and win every match they had left in other to retain their title. They have actually had quite a decent season, maybe not one on par with their lofty La Liga standards. But on the 13th of January, they announced they had s

The case for Android

Constantly all over the Twitter tech space, arguments over the superior smartphone software have been rampant for a couple of years now. Today, as the title suggests we are going to take a look at the Android software and its corresponding hardware devices and make a case for why it is better than its Apple counterpart.  Android the mobile operating system released and maintained by Google, was first unveiled in 2007 to rival Apple's IOS software for the iPhone. It was first released in 2008 as the operating system for the HTC Dream(known as the T-Mobile G1 in some other parts of the world). The android operating system is based on the Linux Kernel, which has been used in various other personal computers. With the release of the original iPhone in 2007, the mobile phone world was completely reset by such a revolutionary device. The android team that was first founded in 2003 were already working on an operating system for mobile phones, but the touchscreen on Apple's iPhone mad

SAMSUNG GALAXY A70 : HANDS-ON REVIEW AFTER A YEAR

It has been nearly a year now since I bought my Samsung Galaxy A70 device and to be completely honest, the phone has been good but not as good as I thought it would be. Obviously, for anyone that has seen the spec sheet of this device would know that for its starting price of about 118,000 naira, it has been value for money. Compared to some other smartphones at that price range, the Galaxy A70 blows its competitors out of the water with its specs. These include 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and there is also the option for expandable storage, triple-lens camera system with ultrawide and depth lenses, 32 MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint reader(it is not very effective). And these are just the headline specs, so yes the phone is pretty decent for about $300 at launch. But the problem with that now is the number of value phone that have been released between its launch and the time of writing this article. Apple released a relatively budget iPhone this year (iPhone SE 2020

THE BUNDESLIGA IS BACK

As the more attentive readers may have noticed, the title is a little flawed. The Bundesliga has actually been back for a week now, I'm actually just getting to writing about it now because I had not started this blog last week. As the first major league back in Europe, (sorry Belarusian league but no one was watching) expectedly there has been so much excitement from around the world about this. Thousands or even millions of non-regular Bundesliga watchers are tuning in and selecting their favourite german team to support until Europe's other major leagues resume. Various football fans on Twitter scrambling around looking for the right Bundesliga team to give their support, while the German team's Twitter accounts making bids to get as many new fans as they possibly can, who doesn't love football Twitter. So naturally, there had been a lot of buzz leading into the second round of German top-flight football and I'm glad to say one of Europe's most excitin

Introduction

Basically, I have decided to start this blog to share social commentary on my idiosyncratic views on a lot of diverse topics for optimistic and enthusiastic readers. I'm just an average Nigerian young-adult who isn't really trying to prove a point or tackle any social issues, but rather, just use this as a platform to express my takes on what life has to offer on said topics and make an extra penny here and there. Yes, I totally agree that there may be hot takes sometimes but I am not setting up this blog to go at anyone/group of people or to influence anyone's way of thinking. So, fundamentally you can say this is me but on the internet. This blog is going to be mainly about four subject matters that I am interested in, TECH , MUSIC ,  SPORTS( mostly football ) and BUSINESS . Occasionally I would branch out of these four major subjects or even write about subsidiaries of these topics that are not entirely about immersed in these topics, as I have other interests outside t
